英语面试考什么？

 

1.考察内容与形式

 

01自我介绍

 

考生应根据自身情况准备一个2-3分钟的英文自我介绍，内容要包含姓名，年龄，性格特征，个人爱好，工作经历，个人家庭以及工作规划等等

Good morning! My name is Liming. I’m 27 years old. I come from Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province. I graduated from the Chemistry Department of Zhejiang University in July, 2010.

 

During the past five years, I have been working in an American company and I was the head of Marketing.

 

I’m open-minded, quick in thought and very fond of sports. In my spare time. I also have broad interests, such as reading books, especially those about sales and promotion. I have a comparative good command of network application. My motto is “Attitude determines altitude." I make no efforts to improve myself.

英语面试评分标准

 

一般来说，英语面试的评分主要看以下几个方面：

 

第一，语言的准确性和得体性;

 

第二，语音、语调是否准确;

 

第三，语法是否正确;

 

第四，语句表达的流利程度。

 

英语面试冷场急救措施

 

由于紧张等各种原因，同学们在考研复试的时候可能会发生一些冷场现象，这种情况该如何及时补救呢?

 

1，发生冷场

 

考生在回答问题或讨论问题时，因种种原因会出现一时语塞或找不到确切的词语或语句来表达自己意思的情况。在这种情况下，为了不影响正常的交际和考官的打分，同时赢得思考时间，可采用一些相对模糊的词语来代替。例如：

 

It’s something like…It’s a kind of thing to …

 

2，没听清问题

 

没听清问题时可以请求重复，例如：1.Excuse me. I can’t quite follow you. Would you please say it again?2.Excuse me, could you please repeat what you have just said?3.Would you mind repeating your question?4.I beg your pardon?

 

3，问到有关社会问题

 

很多学校会就当前发生的社会热点、行政热点等于考生进行讨论。所以同学们要适当关注一下身边发生的新闻，至少要知道新闻的大体内容。

 

4，专业话题

 

口语测试时老师有可能要求你就本专业展开话题，考查你用英语讲解陌生概念的能力。因此熟悉本专业常用的英语词汇是必要的。对有可能问到并展开的专业话题要有所准备。

1.Family

 

Could you tell me something about your family?

 

How many people are there in your family? And who are they?

 

Are you married?

 

2.Hobbies

 

Do you have any hobbies? What are they?

 

How do you spend your spare time/weekends/holidays?

 

What do you usually do after work?

 

What do you like to read?

 

3.Educational Background

 

When and where did you graduate?

 

What degrees have you got?

 

What was your major?/What did you major in?

 

4.Working Experiences

 

What do you do? What is your job? What is your occupation?

 

What is your job duty?

 

What qualifications do you think are necessary for your work?
